By accessing or using Shush ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
Shush is a free, non-commercial, personal-use web application that provides a distraction-free interface for watching YouTube videos. The app allows users to save videos to a personal library, create and share playlists, subscribe to YouTube channels, and maintain a watch history. Shush does not host any video content. All videos are played via YouTube's official embedded player.
You may need to create an account to use Shush. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to notify us if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to limit the number of accounts that can be registered.
You agree to use Shush only for its intended purpose: organizing and watching YouTube videos for personal enjoyment. You agree not to use the app to violate any applicable laws or regulations, attempt to circumvent security measures or access restrictions, abuse the service through automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.), use the app for any commercial purpose, or interfere with or disrupt the app's infrastructure.
Shush does not host, upload, or distribute video content. All videos are sourced from YouTube and played via YouTube's official IFrame Player API. The availability, content, and terms of use of those videos are governed by YouTube's Terms of Service. Shush is not responsible for the content of any videos watched through the app.
User-generated content within Shush (such as playlist names and descriptions) must not contain offensive, abusive, or illegal material. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms.
If you choose to make a playlist public or share it via a link, other users will be able to view and copy that playlist. You are responsible for ensuring that your shared playlists do not contain inappropriate or misleading titles or descriptions. We reserve the right to remove or restrict access to shared playlists that violate these terms.
The Shush app, including its design, code, and branding, is the property of its creator. YouTube, the YouTube logo, and related trademarks are the property of Google LLC. This app is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google.
Shush is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We are not responsible for any issues arising from YouTube's service, including video availability, playback errors, or changes to YouTube's API.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shush and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the app.
Shush is a free service and we make no guarantees about its continued availability. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the app at any time without notice. Free tier hosting limitations may affect availability.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service. You may delete your account at any time, which will result in the permanent deletion of all your data.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
